CIARAN O'BRIEN NAMED CFO OF WIND CAPITAL GROUP

Wind Capital Group, the St. Louis-based wind energy developer, hired Ciaran O'Brien as the company's executive vice president and chief financial officer replacing Bill Fischer.

Wind Capital Group, the St. Louis-based wind energy developer, hired Ciaran O'Brien as the company's executive vice president and chief financial officer replacing Bill Fischer.

O'Brien most recently served as chief financial officer of wind farm developer Airtricity where he was one of the founders of the Dublin, Ireland-based company's North American business unit. He will work out of Wind Capital's Chicago office.

St. Louis-based wind energy developer Wind Capital Group was founded by Tom Carnahan in 2005. Wind Capital Group is currently developing wind farm projects in eight states across the central U.S. and has a development pipeline of over 2,000 megawatts.
